Returns – Unwanted, Unsuitable items
At MiDMarine we hope that you are happy with your purchases, however we know that sometimes you will need to return or cancel an item.
Before returning any goods please read our Terms and Conditions. Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
However, should you have a change of mind for any reason, under The Consumer Act 2015 you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased online for a refund.
The following conditions apply:
Orders must be cancelled within 30 days beginning with the day after the date goods are delivered by contacting us quoting your customer order number.
Goods must be returned in their original condition; i.e. unused and in their original packaging.
Return postage is at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods that are returned.
We are unable to issue any refund until the goods have been inspected.
All goods should be suitably wrapped/packaged to make certain of safe handling and to protect them during transit.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you return goods claiming they are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day we confirm via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.
Returns – Damaged / Missing items
Whilst every effort is made to ensure your order arrives complete and in satisfactory condition, in the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged in transit or incomplete, we ask that you contact us immediately within 7 days of delivery.
If the packaging is visibly damaged, make a note to the delivery courier, or refuse the delivery at your discretion.
If you do accept the delivery and later find a damage occurred in transit, contact us with the following information (within 7 days of delivery) to process your claim with the courier:
Photographs of damaged packaging and/or product.
Detailed description of the damage and/or missing items.
Please Note: The deadlines for informing a damage in transit is 7 day from delivery, due to the terms dictated by the courier companies. Any claims beyond 7 days may not be approved.
Returns – Faulty Goods
If you purchased your item less than 30 days ago you are eligible to return the item for either a full refund or replacement.
Items that are older than 30 days can be returned for a repair. In the event a repair is not possible a replacement item may be given, at our discretion.
Returns – Process
Before you return your item please contact us with details of the item you wish to return, the original order number, and reason for return.
Packing. Once you have our approval to return, you should pack the item in the original shipping box or similar packaging, ensuring fragile items are adequately protected for the transit.
Include in the parcel a copy of the delivery note, or a hand written note with your order number, name and address. This allows us to identify the sender and correctly refund you.

We only accept returns from a registered carrier with full tracking facility. Customer returns made in person may not be accepted.
Returns – Refunds
Your refund will be paid to the card or account used to pay for the original transaction. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the goods returned are not in a resalable condition or make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value. Shipping costs are not refunded.
