Description
MC4 Adapter with inbuilt Blocking Diode, rated to 20A, 1000V.
Blocking diodes ensure current flows only in one direction. Usage scenarios:
- A diode placed on positive side of the solar panel circuit will prevent draining the battery overnight.
- On multi-panel solar arrays with parallel branches, put a diode on each branch. This will prevent back flow of current when a panel is shaded, or when different panel types are used in the same array.
Ensure 20A rating is not exceeded on each branch circuit.
Rated IP67 for outdoor and indoor use.
